CHARACTERISTICS

Active ingredients of collagen presented in a mild acidic medium containing specific amino acid of approximately 300Y per ml.

MODE OF ACTION

Moisturises, softens and maintains the skin's elasticity. A replacement cream for the natural collagen which is diminished from the skin due to harsh conditions.

Gerontologists discovered that aging of the skin takes place predominantly in the connective tissue of the dermis.

Typical aging processes of  the skin occur in the collagen which makes up the largest part of connective tissue (70%) and one-third of the total body protein.

Young skin is signified by “soluble” collagen which incorporates elastic connective tissue which has a good capacity for absorbing moisture and is hence capable of swelling.

Aged or aging skin, is shown by “insoluble” collagen and the non-elastic connective tissue cannot absorb moisture adequately and therefore is no longer capable of swelling. This loss of elasticity manifests itself in increased formation of lines and wrinkles in the skin, especially to areas exposed to light.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Proconat Collagene Cream is ideal for application to skin which is aging due to the passage of  time or by exposure to light, ie skin which is becoming inelastic, and consequently withered and wrinkled, as well as low in moisture through loss of soluble collagen.

For areas of skin particularly susceptible to wrinkles, the face, neck, décolleté (bust) and backs of hands and for ‘rough’ parts of the body such as elbows and knees, and also for sun exposed bodies, especially young skins.

After morning and evening for normal, sensitive and youthful skin. Mature skin- use in the morning. Can be used with or without make-up.

Aqua, Mineral oil, Stearic Acid, Beeswax, Isopropyl Myristate, Lanolin Oil, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Lanolin Alcohol, Stearly Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, caprylyl Glycol, Cetyl Alcohol, Fragrance, Vegetable Collagen, Sodium Borate, Dimethicone, Disodium EDTA.
